Every day is #EarthDay at Gurwin Healthcare System! Our Nursing Home and Adult Day Care programs plant indoor gardens, which is a therapeutic activity that can be adapted for individuals with varying levels of mobility. We organize leisurely walks around our beautiful, serene campus grounds, providing an opportunity for our residents to enjoy the fresh air and the beauty of nature. We create earth-friendly crafts and use recycled materials to create art, promoting creativity and reminding all of the importance of reusing materials. These are just some of the various activities we enjoy throughout our continuum that focus on our planet. They’re not only enjoyable, but also encourage ongoing environmental consciousness and responsibility.
