| Together
with Good Shepherd Hospice, our Center addresses the special needs of terminally
ill residents and their families.
To be eligible for hospice care, a resident must be classified as terminal
(six-month or less life expectancy). The patient and/or their family must consent
to hospice care; a Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order is suggested. Hospice professionals
help the family and patient feel comfortable making these decisions, and provide
care which enables the terminally ill to live out their final days in dignity
and comfort.
