Fay

Fay says that she was born with a paintbrush in her hand, and she has spent her whole life being creative.  As an art teacher, she enjoyed bringing out the emotion in her students, sometimes using music to inspire them to create.At Gurwin’s Assisted Living Community, Fay continued her love of teaching art, running a class for her fellow residents to help find their inner Picasos!“One of the things I love about painting is looking for the details in my subjects,” she says.  “I teach my students that beauty is everywhere, you just have to look for it!”Fay not only enjoys pursuing her art at Gurwin, but also all the new friends she made.  “I have a lot of fun every day,” she says.When Fay is not in the art room, working on her own paintings or helping others with theirs, she can be found socializing with friends or enjoying a stroll around the grounds.  “It’s just beautiful here, and I’ll be taking my daily walk outside for as long as the weather will allow!”
