Commack, NY— Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (Commack) is pleased to announce the appointment of Stacie Caplan (Melville) as Chief Human Resources Officer. Mrs. Caplan will oversee all aspects of Human Resources including employee relations and benefits administration at the 460-bed healthcare facility. “I am please to become part of the Gurwin family, whose tradition as a wonderful and caring place to work and live is evident in the quality and compassion of the staff,” she said.

Mrs. Caplan most recently was the Human Resources Business Partner at Stern Center for Extended Care, Orzac Center for Extended Care and Franklin Hospital which is part of the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System in Manhasset. She received her Master’s Degree in Industrial Labor Relations from Baruch College in Manhattan.
